We released the new Iron 90 today, which contains all features and updates known from Chromium 90. The current version is 90.0.4600.0

Main improvements:
- FLOC disabled
- performance improvements
- address bar will use https:// by default
- minor improvements
- Bug-/Securityfixes

I downloaded the new version and find it annoying that there is still a sync option in the menu if sync with google is not working. Frankly, I'd prefer a completely "degoogled" version without the sync features that force you to log into a google account all the time. What I'm finding instead is that I can't access google products at all. All I want is to sign in with a google account where necessary, and be signed out whenever I'm simply using the internet.
Why did you leave sync in the menus when it doesn't work?

I love Iron and have used it for several years. I can't believe that Google would pull the plug on you like this. I'd be very excited to see a version where their services are completely out of the picture.

I guess you mean AdBlock 'is crashing' and Iron 'is freezing'? You may not be the only one, please see: viewtopic.php?p=87653#p87653

Can you try the 'portable' version of Iron and use it with your plugins? Also choose the 'uBlock Origin' plugin for the time being, maybe 'AdBlock' has got issues, which need to be fixed first. It is just very suspicious that two users got the same probs (apparently) involving this extension. Something smells here.
