Hello to all Iron users!
This is my first post here but I use Iron portable since version 16 and, I must say, it is the best browser that exists (and only one that I'm using).

Since I work with it every day I have noticed that Iron slows down after few month of use, and starts using more RAM (I have only 512MB so every MB is important to me
That's why I made this Cleaner (for myself) but I decided not to be selfish and share it with community.
After cleaning, Iron will be like new!

NOTICE: This program is only for Iron PORTABLE! It wont work on installed version.

The program is portable.
It requires .NET Framework 4.0 (http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download ... x?id=17851), but try to start it before installing framework.

Some tips to speed up Iron:
+ Reduce the number of extensions
+ Install FlashControll (made by Dave) extension from Web Store
+ Reduce the number of opened tabs while surfing

Could you list specifically the differences between this and Iron's default "Clear browsing data" feature ?

This cleans much more than history, cache and cookies, but I can't specifically tell the difference since I don't know what is in the code of "Clear browsing data" feature. Based on seen, that feature just overwrites few files and deletes cache memory.
Iron cleaner cleans all (I think) files that are related to previous browsing sessions. So, when you start Iron (after cleaning) it is like fresh installation, there are no old files to pull data from (less RAM memory usage), and here you can feel speed improvement. Your Iron will behave like it has never been installed on your computer before, but with all your settings and private data (bookmarks, passwords... if you don't check options to delete this too).
Other differences are more cleaning options...

If you are experienced user you know that after 5-6 months of using browser becomes very slow (especially Google Chrome... that was a main reason I start using Iron, but he became slow too) and "Clear browsing data" can't help here. Because of that I made this program for myself and it helped me, so I decided to share it with community...

You can test it on some Iron, Chrome or Chromium browser that was in use for a few months and never cleaned.. For example, measure the memory usage before and after cleaning, page loading time, etc...
