Thank you for good work. Using this is easy and install is not required: just unzip tar.gz, go to "iron-64" folder and double click "iron".

Great stuff!
Now, how can I test the accelerated compositing? someone has the link?

Re: New Iron-Version: 7.0.520.0 Stable for Linux
I have no idea howto get the adblock file to work in this version.
I have downloaded fanboys latest list and converted the line endings to new line's then placed a copy in my profile directory and in the install directory but
the ad's still seem to appear.
Has anyone any insight as to what I'm doing wrong?
TIA,
Dazbo

nano /opt/adblock.ini and then paste the adblock.ini into it (Strg+V from your browser).tryforsure wrote:I have no idea howto get the adblock file to work in this version.

I wonder will there be any chance in the future that you might create .deb packages for Iron or even better a Launchpad PPA. I am pretty new to Linux and I use Chromium because I can easily install it from the Ubuntu Software Center. Please consider creating .deb packages for new users like me. Thanks.
