What happened to bild.me?

I used to use it but now nothing seems to work

Due to heavy abuse combined with heavy adblocker usage we had to shut it down

I noticed bild.me disappeared a while ago. From what I gather, these file hosting services tend to shut down when they become too costly to keep running or get hit with legal issues. I used it for a bit a while ago, but since it’s gone, I switched to alternatives like Google Drive or Dropbox for sharing files. It’s a shame because it was simple and easy to use, but I guess that’s the nature of these free services.
