“□ Always open these types of links in the associated app” is not displayed.
“□ Always open these types of links in the associated app” is not displayed.
I think that you can see that it is not displayed, but there is not enough vertical space to display “□ Always open these types of links in the associated app”. (see the figure below)
I want a restoration that includes a vertical space.

v78.0.4050.0 is also not fixed.

SRWare Iron has also been updated to v79,
https://cloud.google.com/docs/chrome-en ... enCheckbox
..I hoped that this method could be applied, but I couldn't decide which part of Regedit to work on in the end and couldn't resolve it...
Answers that helped solve the problem
(Only about Google Chrome...)

And
https://support.google.com/chrome/threa ... d=28900575
..With the above method, I also tried to fix Google Chrome and as a result I was able to fix it brilliantly.
(The version I tried to fix is v80.0.3987.106, and Iron is v79.0.4100.0.)
Since there was no folder (key) named Google in "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies", I made it.
I tried, in the Policies key,
SRWare (or SRWare Iron)
┗ Iron (or Chrome)
But I couldn't fix it at all.. XD
other,
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\SRWare\Iron]
"ExternalProtocolDialogShowAlwaysOpenCheckbox"=dword:00000001
(DWORD is QWORD because it is 64-bit)
I tried this, but it didn't work. XD

Re: “□ Always open these types of links in the associated app” is not displayed.
Thank you for the detailed thread.
I am facing the same issue with Version 79.0.4100.0 x64. Further to the random display problem, the checkbox is not taken into account actually.
I have to respond to the popup every time, despite being on the same site, using the same type of shortcut link.
Hope this can be fixed in an upcoming release

SUCCESSFUL REPAIR!!
◎Repair method
(This time, I tried with "SRWare Iron-Version 80.0.4150.1 (Official Build) (64-bit)", but I think that it can be applied to all the versions that are no longer displayed. (Maybe)) 1. Create a new Chromium key in [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ SOFTWARE\Policies] key.
2. Create a new DWORD value named "ExternalProtocolDialogShowAlwaysOpenCheckbox".
3. Correct the value data from "0" to "1" while keeping the notation in hexadecimal.
4. Restart PC.
That's all.
★Result
..I forgot that the name of the Iron user data folder was "Chromium".
