New Iron-Version: 79.0.4100.0 Stable for Windows

We released the new Iron 79 today, which contains all features and updates known from Chromium 79. The current version is 79.0.4100.0

Main improvements:
- several minor improvements
- Bug-/Securityfixes

In the last few weeks of v78, certain Google pages (Google Mail and similar) was crashing Iron. I have had no crashes since upgrading to v 79.

I tried the .msi installer. Not a good experience. Much slower, custom window a bit odd with no options. Computed space was 753 so completely wrong. Home pages didn't load, all some weird page with a $1 option, extensions missing.

I replaced my profile and installed using the normal .exe installer and all seems fine.

I don't have this problem on 64-bit Iron. Try with new and clean profife.

I am facing a display issue on TSA's website since the upgrade to version 79.0.4100

The frame displayed are all over the place



It used to be displayed properly (version 77) as shown below



Weird thing is that I managed to get is to display the page properly on my laptop, using the same version.

My settings should be similar on both machines but maybe I'm missing something ? Could it be due to police or text size ?

I checked it in Iron 79 and i don't have this display issue. You may check this problem in google chrome. If problem persist then it's chrome engine problem on your machine not Iron.
