Maybe i can. But i could only display the news (from rss feed of twitter) and provide the download link. More isn't possible due Iron has not a Update File or sth other. If the Admin creates a Textfile (or something similar), i would write a Program or Extension for Iron

PS: if developers will not forget to update the feed. I've subscribed for the news feed and sometimes forum has the new version for several weeks before it updates.
