That didn't sound nice I must admit. You don't have a time to read stupid comments but you do have it to write them. For your information - IE9 and Firefox 3.6.11 both do use space as a page down hotkey. Instead of writing such revelations just open the Iron forum pages (wihch are long enough) in these browsers and see by yourself. The other browsers may treat the "space" differently when there is a conflicting flash based game inside (for example). Maybe Iron or Chromium in general does not let pass the space thorugh to the game more strictly than the other browsers. This behavior however has been reported anyway as a bug and hopefully someone fixes it sooner or later: http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issue ... l?id=49218 (it refers to Linux version but the problem is applicable to Windows too).Redratus wrote:IE9, Opera 10.63, Mozilla Firefox 3.6.10, Apple Safari 5 - None of these browsers has got the hotkey "space" as "page down"...
[...]
Dear All, in future, please, be aware of posting answers like "Sorry I can't help you", you are just filling the forum with non-useful information. I have no time to read stupid comments. Just a simple answer I need to a simple question <<How to disable "space" hotkey in Srware Iron?>>
Thank you very much.
Best regards.

Right now IE9 and FF3.6.11 on my both PC-s, do not react on "space" button push as "page down". So before calling my comments stupid, dear moron, you should better check your browsers. Don't waste your and my time writing posts providing 0 useful information. I don't need an endless forum-fight with bulek-like morons. I need Short Correct and USeful info.bulek wrote:That didn't sound nice I must admit. You don't have a time to read stupid comments but you do have it to write them. Re: New Iron-Version: 6.0.475.1 Stable for Windows
Redwhatever... on my PC Iron, IE9 and FF all react on space as a page down. And the same for thousands other users if you just google for it. I have provided correct and constructive info about Chromium bug (since this is not Iron thing to solve Chromium bugs). You have most probably overlooked this when reading and writing your insulting response with shaking hands
. Now I think someone up there takes care of you disturbing your gaming experience which obviously does not have a good influence on your peace of mind.

That's a great news SRware! Thank you for doing an excellent work for us.SRWare wrote:The work on Iron 7 are already on progress and the new version will be released the next days.

Re: New Iron-Version: 6.0.475.1 Stable for Windows
SRWare,
Are there any plans on addressing other criticisms of Chrome in the upcoming release?
To rephrase,
Aside from the current standard feature set of Iron, are there any additional features that you are planning to implement that Chrome does not have?

Beside of an improved adblocker there are no concrete plans. But if you have any suggestions, just post them.Udy wrote:SRWare,

Re: New Iron-Version: 6.0.475.1 Stable for Windows
I didn't see my suggestion in this release about the page zoom being redone to work in 10% increments instead of 20%. For me, pages or either too big or too small. I have a 24" monitor. And will the "optional gpu acceleration" be a chrome extension..."booooo",SRWare wrote:Beside of an improved adblocker there are no concrete plans. Re: New Iron-Version: 6.0.475.1 Stable for Windows
You know how some PC video games have a separate executable for configuration and setup?
A separate executable which could,
- Clear Private Data
- Update adblock list
- Check for updates to SRWare Iron
- Configure Iron settings
- Configure Iron switches
- etc.
would be a great.
Additionally,
- The ability to modify the new tab page (the page which opens when you create a new tab), to set it to about:blank for example
- The ability to disable the generation of thumbnails (Used by new tab page - recently visited).
- The adblock is fast but primitive, it would be nice to be able to whitelist a page - i.e. run a certain page without adblock.
