sorry I didn't mean revo uninstaller but RECUVA....

Here the link: https://www.piriform.com/recuva/builds

You can make the deep recover assuming long time will be necessary to recover all files. read the instruction above all about the option to make more simple the detection of files as the tree and the original folder tree .... (I don't remember exactly). You could make a quick search by recuva and without any useful result the deep search for them. Try to understand before the recover what is the exact file you are searching for. My suggestion is to play recuva from USB without overwriting the hard drive using the portable release.... in fact the overwriting makes the recover of the file much more difficult deleting part of the old files still present on the hard drive waiting for the writing of new data. Good luck.

Tab browsing is acting weird: tabs are not loading in the background (until I click on them), and then the previously active one is automatically reloading when I return to it.
Basically everything is continuously reloading - and no background tab ever stays loaded.
I tried resetting everything to default, but this thing started right after updating to this version. So I'm wondering whether is a new Chrome thing, an Iron thing or just my own thing. I see tab-related Chrome issues going way back for others (for both Windows and Android Chrome), but it never happened to me until Iron 47.0.2500.0 Stable.

Any suggestions, please?

I have the same issue along with others since going to this version.

It's very annoying to say the least.

Yes, regularly - I'm a cache-cleaning freak.
Besides, it happens in both normal and incognito mode :(

Haven't tried the portable, but I did uninstall and cleaned all traces of Chromium and Adobe/Macromedia Flash from my hard drive and registry - someone suggested it could be a Flash thing (which I had enabled in Iron).
Same thing on a brand new Iron with no Flash and no extensions whatsoever - the tabs either don't even begin to load if I open a new one right away, or completely loaded tabs begin to reload from zero when I come back to them. Even the extensions or setting pages of the browser.

The thing is I just returned home after a month of absence and I updated the extensions too. Someone said they might cause this (a completely reinvented LastPass, uBlock Origin or Xmarks, among others). But it turns out it's not because of them.

Then I found topics about all this being a Google idea: the browser simply closes the inactive tabs to save RAM. They still appear as open tabs, but they are actually blank pages until you click on them.
This is happening on my laptop - which is not that great, but nowhere near low memory when Iron is running. I updated my desktop in the meantime too, and that one does NOT have this problem, indeed.
But if this is deliberate and, as it seems, Google is actually proud of this nonsense, more and more people will be affected by it shortly, so you might want to keep an eye on things.

Strangely enough, I didn't encounter this problem with my other Chromium-based browser on the same laptop (Chromium version 47.0.2526.111).

Thank you for your attention.
My issue doesn't seem to be solvable, though.
Hopefully, it is just an isolated one.
