Earlier, I finally un-installed the old Flash player and install PPAPI. Flash plays nice and I no longer get the stupid warning that the next version of Chrome won't support NPAPI (or whatever the name is for the old version). lol
Glad to see that PPAPI works; last time I tried, it didn't. Thanks again for the continued support for Iron.
I downloaded Iron on linux (Linux Mint 17.1 Mate).
It works, but not with flash.
I saw several "tips" on the net to enable it, none worked.
On my computer, flash works well with Firefox and Opera, so it's installed properly (it's a part of the Mint distribution and updated on a regular basis).
Of course it's permitted to dislike Flash, but for now many websites do not work without it.
Any idea about the way to enable it on Iron ?
Regards.

Just a humble request to the Srware developers - I am waiting for a Mac OSX update to Iron because of this endless Flash stuff - I can't believe this has eaten so much of my time for the past week, I hate Adobe
Basically it's not possible to use PPAPI pepper flash on Iron without extra command line stuff every time it is launched.
Am I missing something or is it just not possible yet on OSX because the version is lagging behind?
I've read this entire thread and can't figure out how to get this to work in 64-bit windows 8. My computer keeps freezing when streaming flash. Does this not work anymore? I thought I had the right flash version, but I guess not. I'm going to have to go back to FF if this keeps up. I need to be able to watch Flash videos to do my work.
Nope, sorry, that link downloads an executable gccheck_small.exe has been detected as malware by 44 different virus engines.
Adobe Flash has been compromised and all versions are now considered malware.
Remove all versions of Flash from your computer and do not install more. If you run into a site that requires flash, contact the site administrator to get them to remove all flash content from the page, as it is considered malware.
