I read the overview on the differences between Iron and Chrome. It didn't mention flash was removed but I'm getting the prompt to install flash. Is it possible to re-enable flash on the portable version of Iron?
Thanks!
How to Enable Flash on Iron
Re: How to Enable Flash on Iron
install (adobe site) flash player for non-IE browsers
Re: How to Enable Flash on Iron
Thanks but I'm looking to avoid installing Flash.
I use a Firefox variant as my main browser and use portable Chrome whenever I need to watch a flash video. It leaves Flash off my system and compartmentalized within Chrome.
I thought I could switch to Iron and use that instead. Is it possible to re-enable flash within Iron and have it update itself like the Chrome version does all within the portable?

Re: How to Enable Flash on Iron
Hello,
Iron is a Chromium-based browser, and there isn't flash by default in Chromium. So, It's the same in Iron.

Re: How to Enable Flash on Iron
Sorry a mod still hasn't let through my replies...
Thanks for the heads up. I didn't realize Flash had been stripped out of Chromium as well. That makes sense then. So sticking "npswf32.dll" as I have read elsewhere wouldn't enable flash? You would still need to make the separate install?

Re: How to Enable Flash on Iron
I don't know about the dll.
As Mapx I installed flash separately.
No problem like that.
But this isn't a portable solution. For the latter, I found it: link.
Good try.
