It would be nice without that., thank you.

Re: New Iron-Version: 18.0.1050.0 Stable for Linux
Hi
thank you for this new version.
I have updated it, but i lose all my bookmarks.
i cannot retrieved from the "favorite parameters" because it also suggest 3 other browsers: IE, Mozilla, Google.
my bookmarks are linked to the Chromium...
and so,
I was trying to import the bookmarks file from the "favorite manager" but it is not visible (because not a html extension), here it is the track:
D:\Documents and Settings\myname\Local Settings\Application Data\Chromium\User Data
and so I 've just written in the input area the file "bookmarks", but it has not been uploaded !!!!
I spent too much time with this basics, it's very bothering...
please , would you be kind to guide me then?
thank you

Re: New Iron-Version: 18.0.1050.0 Stable for Linux
I keep getting "Illegal instruction" error with new version. 17.0.1000.0. works fine for me but 18.0.1050.0 doesn't.
Re: New Iron-Version: 18.0.1050.0 Stable for Linux
There are still three problems with the RPM:
1. The exec line in iron.desktop needs an add %U at the end:
Exec=/usr/share/iron/iron %U
2. /usr should not be getting changed to world writable. That's a pretty huge security problem the RPM is creating on everyone's computer who installs it!
3. The inclusion of /iron64.deb which isn't very useful ...
Thanks!

Re: New Iron-Version: 18.0.1050.0 Stable for Linux
Here's a working iron.desktop file that both launches links and puts Iron the the available default web browser option box.
Code: Select all
[Desktop Entry]
Name=SRWare Iron
Comment=SRWare Iron-Browser
Exec=/usr/share/iron/iron %U
Icon=iron_product_logo
Terminal=false
Type=Application
Categories=Network;WebBrowser;
StartupNotify=false
Name[en_US]=SRWare Iron
MimeType=text/html;text/xml;application/xhtml+xml;application/vnd.mozilla.xul+xml;text/mml;x-scheme-handler/http;x-scheme-handler/https;
