Iron 9-10

Post by Mr.Blair »

I am not sure if its me or if the functions in the newer versions are less. Is anyone else using a older version? I was using 10 but I went back to a older version 5. I like the cookie controls better and it seems faster at loading some things than 10. But slower on other things than 10. I like to know for sure I have control of privacy. Is there anyway the iron team can revert back to the older settings in newer versions but still update and add new features? Or do they just strictly use the exact copy of the new code when it becomes available?

I am not complaining trust me. Iron is the best browser out there I tried Firefox 4 and it was junk :ironvsff I quickly deleted it. I love having chrome and no googleware.
( spyware )
Iron is the only browser I trust , and the only browser I will ever use. But I just hope the code is not getting out of control. Please don't tell me Google bought the code. I will learn I guess to use the newer versions when I start getting messages from webpages telling me to update my browser lol.

Cheers Guys!

Yes, Google owns the code for chromium, the basis fir both Iron and Chrome.
Read this for differences. http://www.srware.net/en/software_srwar ... s_iron.php
And this for more information about Iron.http://www.srware.net/en/software_srware_iron_faq.php
I would also suggest you search for 'chromium' to see what that project is, and what it is about.

Don't worry, Google started with Chromium 12 to debloat the code. Forthcoming versions of Chrome and Iron should load faster.
