Graphics card prices are becoming more realistic again

Due to chip shortages and Bitcoin mining, graphics card prices had literally exploded at times. In May, computer users had to dig deep into their pockets for their graphics cards. In some cases, retailers demanded three times the RRP price.

Currently, the picture has changed. The most popular cards are available again and the prices have dropped accordingly. In May, only four models of the common GeForce graphics cards were available in some cases. This number has increased significantly, so that the customer can often choose between 24 and more models. If you now decide on a GeForce RTX 3060 graphics card, you paid around 950 Euros in May. Now he gets the same card for 640 Euros. The customer saves about 800 Euros when buying a GeForce RTX 3080.

The situation is similar with AMD's Radeon cards. The Radeon RX 6700 XT cost around 930 Euros just a month ago, now the customer gets it for just under 800 Euros. These prices are still above the RRP, but the prices should drop further, so it is definitely worth waiting a few weeks before buying a new one.
