Accessing Chrome Web Store

I know there have been other threads about this topic, but I am curious if it is the version of Iron that prevents me from being able to access the Chrome extensions. I am currently using Iron Version 22.0.1250.0 (160000) and intend to keep on using Old Faithful. Only because upgrades to other versions have resulted in hiccups (Flash, etc) that I didn't want to work through I have remained loyal to this version. But what I'm wondering is if upgrading to Version 35 allows access to the Web Store. If not, has anyone found a "work-around" for getting to those extensions?
