for those want disable the Tab Hover Card Image- do not use from chrome://flags. it won't work
go to appearance and disable the tab preview.
and a note: do this before use the Chrome Refresh 2023, cause it will hide this option of disable tab preview.

After installing 118 it reset my search preference to "Bing" (ugh) and also I see "Iron isn't your default browser" every day which I thought I had fixed.
I tried re-installing by running the installer as administrator, which is a suggested fix but it's still the same. I was able to reset the search, though.

I also don't see the text cursor when typing, for example in this message box or on facebook. Reverting to 117, the cursor is again present.

For me the same problem with Bing. I solved it with the following:

go to Preferences and then to search engine. The Standard search engine is iron secure. So I edited this (press the pencil) to

the first line: Google
the second line: google.com_

So it will work. Because when I delete all search engines except for google and then I restart Iron it will be the same with Bing.

I was a little surprised to see that the search engine settings had been changed after this update.
Fortunately, I was relieved to see that the settings I had previously used to disable personalization in google search were still there.

By the way, what exactly is "iron secure search"?
An explanation of this would be appreciated.
And is it possible to utilize this in google search as well?

for years now I use, and have donated. its a great project, and appreciated.

My question, why is it so often some builds (not all) do not prompt to save login credentials? And YES, autofill "Offer to save passwords" is ON. On my pc, win 10 pro version 118.0.6000.0 did not transfer login credentials from the recent previous build when i installed it over top of the previous build version, AND not only that, but the prompt to save credentials does not come up.

The only extension I use is adblock plus. Is that causing it? And if yes, then why if I re install a very old IRON build that I know does save credentials properly (Version 91.0.4650.0) that works, and adblock plus is activated and installed.

I wish you would test these more frequently, for if you resolve this annoyance I would donate again.
