I am being hassled to install the latest Flash player.
Is it supported by Iron??
As a rule I try to avoid anything by Adobe.
Would appreciate your advice as how to proceed
Thanks for Iron.

There are alternatives in Linux, but I use Adobe's Flash regardless.
If you are referring to YouTube, you can always opt-in for their HTML5 code and Flash won't be necessary, most videos still require Flash.
For anything else, you would need Flash.
I am not that savvy, so someone else might have a better solution.

I forgot to mention that there are extensions that might allow you to use Windows Media or Quicktime to play the files, rather than using Flash.

Yes, the latest flash works with iron. Iron used to need chrome's built-in flash player but now it can use the same browser plugin as everything else. It works fine.

Just install Flash and not all the other Adobe bloatware crap. You pretty much need flash to watch allot of online video
