The 1password agent keeps autoupdating and once that is done I get the error message "agent not connected"
none of the solutions offered by 1password works. the only way to get it to work again is to install the older extension I was lucky to have saved. this work until the next auto-update sequence1

how to get the new extension to work or how to stop the auto-update that is the question!

1.Locate your chrome extensions folder.
xp
C:\Documents and Settings\<USERNAME>\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Extensions
vista, w7
C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Extensions
2.identify your extension
To find extension ID, go to extensions page, enable developer mode and you should see a "ID" below name of the extension
3.open manifest.json (notepad) and delete :

the raw with update_url
