This problem only recently happened, but Iron wont install any extensions from

https://chrome.google.com/webstore

Am using version 13.0.800.1 (Official Build 98000) Windows, and it also happened with the previous version. I have tried everything, from using Revo Uninstaller to fully remove Iron, to trying incognito mode, removing any modified settings, etc

This problem also occurs when I try install extensions with Chrome.


However I am able to install extensions from ( they just don't have the ones I want )

Any ideas ?

What error do you get?

I don't get an error, I click "Add to Chrome" > Install > and it just stays indefinitely at "Installing", doesn't matter how long I wait, it wont install.

The problem seemed to happen after I removed two extensions previously installed, "Disconnect" and "KillEvil"

If you have ghostery extension , disable it before.

That solve the same issue on my computer.


If you dont have ghostery, maybe you can try disabling all extensions.

Have tried all that, its not responsible.

Could you try if you can install them in portable edition?

Portable version wont even run for me. Get no error or anything, just nothing happens when I open it.

Extensions still wont install after updating to version 14.0.850.0 (Official Build 102000)

did you try with privacy.ini file , created but empty ?

Yeah that didn't work either
