Hi all.
I am a 74year old pemsioner with limited sight so beware of spelling mistakes.
I was reading on DigiSpy that Iron is very good so I have downloaded it and I hope you can help me. I had IE8 and upgraded to IE9, should never have done it and got rid of it. Do I have to remove IE8 from the laptop?
and if I do will it get rid of the desktop icons which have IE on gthem.

Ken

Iron shouldn't interfere with Internet Explorer, simply just make sure that Iron is the default browser.

IE9 is generally superior to IE8, and you won't be able to get rid of it entirely, or else some operating-system components will not work; however, Iron is not dependent on Internet Explorer in any way.
