auto-hide bookmarks bar

Hi!

I was wondering if SRWare Iron has support for auto-hide of the bookmark bar? I know Chrome does not support it (I dont think anyway), but ChromePlus does. If this is not support, would the devs consider implementing it? (ChromePlus is much like SWRIron.)

Thanks!

Looks to me like ChromePlus is Chrome with bundled extensions. It doesn't say a thing about having removed all of the Google junk like Iron does.
Those extensions are available, and probably can be added to Iron without problems.
And it's based on a older version of Chromium (based on Chromium 9.0.597.98) as shown in this page. http://www.chromeplus.org/download.php
Here's the Google search. Read a few of the articles.http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=c ... ChromePlus

I totally agree with your comments!

It is the reason I am using Iron, but I miss the auto-hide bookmark bar feature, which I can not find as an extension ...

Thanks

I would like to support this request.

Could we please have an 'auto-hide bookmarks bar' for SRWare Iron. It would be a great help in managing/maximizing screen space on the fly.

There is no add-on available for this function - and it is not available in Google Chrome or Chromium. Yes, it is available in ChromePlus - but ChromePlus also adds a lot of stuff one doesn't necessarily need; nor does it reflect fully the privacy ethos of SRWare Iron.

I would like to add my voice to this request.

A function to 'auto-hide the bookmarks bar' (with the mouse) would help a lot in managing/maximizing the Iron browser web-page screen display.

Chromium and Google Chrome do not have this function. There is no add-on/extension available to do this. ChromePlus provides this - but also too many extras one may not want; also it does not have the same privacy ethos as SRWare Iron does.

Thank you.
