We released the new Iron 10 today, which contains all features and updates known from Chromim 10. The current version is 10.0.650.0.

Mainly there is the new JavaScript Engine "Crankshaft", which is up to 60% faster than the known one. There are also many new experimental features in about:flags to discover. Additionaly this release contains some security- un bugfixes.

The userstring in UA.ini is now also used for the JS-UserAgent.

I liked the old Options panel, but I guess I will get used to this one. It brings up a new NON INCOGNITO window, instead of a new tab when in the incognito mode. That is a no-no to me because I am in incognito mode for a reason!
Also when I Am clearing the data while in incognito mode, it opens another window that IS NOT incognito. Again a big FUBAR on Google's part.
Google at it's best!!

You can close the "normal window" after opening the incognito mode.

I don't understand what you just said! I am already in the incognito mode when I open the Options or do the Clear operation and it opens a new NORMAL window!
I know I can close the normal window after I'm through with it. I have done it a few times this evening already.
My point is/was that it SHOULD open a NEW TAB in the incognito mode and NOT a NEW NORMAL window.

I misunderstood you....Now i know what you mean.

Yeah, kind of silly don't you think? When in 'NORMAL' mode Options or the Clear brings up a new tab.
You'd think they could have followed suit with the incognito mode.
It's not a real BIG deal. Just a pain in the butt to have to deal with private and normal modes at the same time. Maybe next release it will be fixed.
SO, OK, on to other things (when I find them).

I cannot open any pages in Iron. The application loads, but then I get a popup box that the page cannot load. No matter what I do, nothing will load thereafter. I had this same problem in version 9 after you implemented the change to 12 dials from 6, so I went back to 9.0.600.1. I have been using the speed dial extension, and I tried uninstalling that, but I still cannot get Iron to load properly.

@SRware - Can you please change the extensions URL from chrome-plugins.info to the official Google Extensions URL? Or at least give us the option to choose?

Every time I want to go to the Adblock+ webpage for example, I can't because the URL is prefixed with SRware's custom URL.

great job again, it works for me.

but the bottom 4 pages on the new tab work no more (grey all time)
and again no sign of the great links in the right bottom corner with downloads, history and extension, that was a real time saver
