Hi there,

I installed SRWare Iron on my machine running W7 Pro.

1. Is this version different from the earlier ones that I have running on XP?

2. Do I need to make any changes in the browser for W7?

3. Do I have to uninstall & reinstall on XP?

4. Should SSL 2.0 be checked?

SRWare for XP is ver 8.0.555.0 (6800) vs that for W7 is 9.0.600 (74100)?

How do I update this to the newer one?

Pretty sure it's compatible with both xp and win 7 pro (which i have). There are no separate downloaders for windows versions, just .exe and portable. I just got done learning all about portable, and to get Iron running with another portable app, i had to click "properties, and run in windows 7 mode, and everything "clicked", so you should be able to just dl it over your previous version and you'll keep your settings. I think you probably already know running the installer as admin helps any issues in making it your default browser. I just helped a guy do that, and it solved his problem.
