We released the new Iron 8 for Linux today, which contains all features and updates known from Chromim 8. The current version is 8.0.555.0.
In this release you can expire many new beta-features with about:flags.

The chromewrapper script is written to open an executable named Chromium, not Iron. That's easy enough to change but it'd be nice if it was able to work out of the box.

Please help me somebody, i just can't install it using chrome-wrapper.

You don't need to install. Just launch it via the "iron" binary.

I have a problem :
I just downloaded and install Iron 8 on Fedora 13 but when I launch it, I have an error message.

Unable to open your profile successfully
May be some functions will be unavailable
Check if this profile exists and you have read/write permissions

It works fine on Lubuntu 10.10


Any idea ?
Where the profil informations are stocked ?

How can I make Iron work with libpng14. Current Iron requires libpng12:

Hello. Where can i get source code of this release? Link on download page points to sources of chrome\iron version 6.0.475.1 (which is too old).
