Iron looking for nonexistent folder

I've got the latest portable Iron version (6.0.475) installed. Whenever I start the application, it tries to access the folder "E:\Pfiles\Plugins\".
For the sake of testing, I've disabled every extension, and the behaviour persists. This behaviour is problematic for me, since my E:\ spins down after a period of non-activity. Starting Iron makes the drive spin up again. The annoyance this brings, I am sure, doesn't need elaboration.

I've still got version 5.0.382 installed and when opening that version, it doesn't look for the previously mentioned folder.

The MS-app called ProcessMonitor helped me identifying the problem.

I've now got the JUST (!) released v. 7.0.520.0 (63000) running, and this one too, looks for the path "E:\Pfiles\Plugins"

I am now running Chromium 9.0.565.0 (63876) and that one too looks for "E:\Pfiles\Plugins". Seems to me this is a non Iron specific bug.
