Why are there four iron.exe files running in task manager?

Ran up on a page that would not let me close it, and I went into task manager. There were 4 instances of iron.exe running, each a different size, and only one of them will close the browser, and that isn't the largest one. What's this about?

The chromium extensions are ran as separate processes to improve stability for the main browser and security.

This is also true of the plugins (external media handlers, like Flash, Java, and QuickTime), and each individual tab also gets its own process.

Just hit Shift+Esc to see what processes running together with your Chrome/Iron.
