It's very annoying to say the least.

It should be named
favicons present into
chromium folder (search for it into C:\ ... ) root
user data/default

I have not favicon folder but I think I found the rests of my favourites with recuba.

favicons is a file not a folder. it is present into
chromium/user data/default folder
