Does the Incognito mode have issues in this 80.0.4150.1 version?

I only ask because after a YouTube session a popular disk cleaning program cleaned 113,795 KB (1401 files) from "IronPortable\Profile\Default\Cache". I've never seen it produce that much while using Incognito mode.

Hi!

I can't access "chrome://downloads/" using "resources.pak" from "NewTabWithoutSearch". The problem does not occur with "resources.pak" with the search.

Tks!

Hi there,

I was just wondered when opening zoom or MS Team invites...
I used to see a little tick box that allowed me to open all similar links in the same way
This has gone from Iron but is still in Chrome
Is this something that you could fix/resolve...?!
Any help would be truly appreciated...

This was the issue - that Google fixed - that would be great to have in Iron

Kind regards, C

I am having trouble with this latest version of SRWare Iron (portable x64 bit with NewTabWithoutSearch installed).
I am not able to open and view download page (ex: chrome://downloads/).
I only got error message "Aw, Snap! Something went wrong while displaying this webpage."
Please fix it ASAP.

This version seems to have problems in pre-viewing PDFs.

The problem is in the resource.pak from NewTabWithoutSearch.zip. Wasn't that updated to 80.0.4150.1?

I tried to update to this version, but I get an error message "Aw, Snap! Something went wrong while displaying this webpage" and all of my extensions crash. This happened on the last update as well, so I'm stuck at version 75.0.3900.0. I have no idea why it is crashing.

I downloaded and installed the latest version of SRWare Iron (Windows Version: 80.0.4150.1 64-Bit Windows Installer (7, 8, 10) to my laptop) from Version 78.x.x.
I am not able to open and view any pages (ex: chrome://downloads/; chrome://about; SRWare.net; etc).
I get the error message "Aw, Snap! Something went wrong while displaying this webpage." for all pages and links.
Please provide instructions to reinstall prior version or how to fix the new version.
Thanks.

Now I'm really convinced, the problem lies within the resources.pak. It wasn't updated with the last bugfix.

Here is the very simple solution:
Don't copy the file resources.pak to the installation folder! Leave the original file from the iron installer in place.

You'll end up with this ugly search field on the start page, but everything else will work as expected then.

Happy surfing!
