Norton is a different beast now and I personally have experienced no more than a couple of false positives in the last few years.

I don't like Norton because of there shady past But they have changed for the better and are very good. I think its cheesy that norton detected Iron as a high risk. I did use Avast untill they went to version 6 and now I use Adaware free it has antivirus along with antispyware. I love testing antiviruses Adaware did the best of the free ones. Avast really disappointed me this year.
