Hi,
A friend of mine was over the other night and was using my Iron browser on the internet and she must have done something to the configs, but she doesn't know what and I don't either, but now every link I left click opens a new tab and I'd like it to reuse the window instead.
Can someone point me in the right direction to return the browser to its original configuration so I can fix this thing?
I'm running Windows XP Home Edition SP3.
Thanks for any helpful advice you may provide.
every link opens new tab
Re: every link opens new tab
1. see google search settings
Scroll down to "Where results open." make sure the checkbox next to "Open each selected result in a new browser window." is empty.
if still happens
2.verify your extensions
chrome://extensions
disable them one by one to find the bad one

Re: every link opens new tab
which one ? (for those who could have your problem)
Re: every link opens new tab
It was the search settings.
I don't have but a couple of add ons. Just ad block and tabs to the front.
Thanks again.

Re: every link opens new tab
There is a new updated version of Tabs to the Front
- which allows you to toggle (the Tab to Front feature) on/off or set a timed override.
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/deta ... pc/details
This extension provides the "Open New Tab Immediately" feature as present in most other browsers - but with over-ride controls.
