For now, I just disabled Chromium's PDF internal viewer. Not sure if this is a solution or not. Can disable by going to chrome://plugins/

That's just a manufactured click-bait article on a slow news day.
This bug was already patched and fixed in Chrome in the v.51.0.2704.63 release on May 25.

The only reason third-party trash news sites know about this is because they're only now getting around to reading the update posts and re-posting other trash sites trash articles.

Thanks for that confirmation, SRWare. Here's still hoping that somehow a current version of SR Iron still can be compiled one day for XP. Just glad this bug had an easy work-a-round.
