On every Iron update, all my installed extensions get deleted and I have to re-install them. This is very annoying and I remember this wasn't a problem in earlier versions of Iron. Is there any reason for this behavior?

I'm using the latest Iron version on Windows 10.

How old was the previous iron version?

I'm not sure, it's been a while. Normally I check for updates every month or so. I had this problem with the last two or three updates.

The extensions in my Iron installation are gone after each update, too. This occured when updating from Iron 50 to 51 and from 51 to the current version 52. I don't remeber exactly when the problem first appeared but it's still there with the latest version. It also resets some settings, e.g.:

• Enable Autofill to fill out web forms in a single click (deactivated before update)
• Offer to save your web passwords (deactivated before update)
• Ask where to save each file before downloading (activated before update)
• Language settings (reset to English (US))

I just updated to 52.0.2750.0 from the previous version and did not encounter any issues with extensions.

However, many (not all) of my settings were reset to defaults.

I installed this update and all extensions vanished again. I have Windows 10, maybe this is specific to the OS? Can this bug get a higher priority?

I use Iron on Windows 8.1 and on Windows 10 and this happens on both platforms.

I am on Windows 7 64-bit, and recently updated from Iron v39 to Iron v53, and everything is still working like normal. I think one browser extension may have been deleted, but I think that was due to incompatibility. I was actually very impressed all my extensions, and everything still worked as I expected.

One thing I noticed is that my previews on the new tab page only show 8 thumbnails instead of 12. What happened to that feature, and how can I re-enable 12 preview thumbnails?
