But it doesn't seem to be syncing anything - the bookmarks folder is empty (even though I've signed into desktop Iron, synced everything, spotted the Iron app in the phone's Google account and it says it synced it seconds ago etc.)

Where could I download APK since I don't have google play installed on my Android and I don't plan to have google apps?

Yep, great news to have Iron on Android, thanks all the team !

I was not able to sync with my chrome profile. I set my google account in the "sign in" section of the Iron parameters but the bookmarks remain desesperately empty...
Any idea on how to be able to sync on Android ?

Sync-Problem is a known bug at the moment. We will fix this asap.
