We released the new Iron 49 today, which contains all features and updates known from Chromium 49. The current version is 49.0.2600.0.

Main improvements:
- Netflix, WhatsApp Web and many others work "out of the box"
- Synchronization does not need "Activate Sync" any longer
- WebRTC is optinal now
- small design changes
- MP3 Support for HTML5-Audio (early v48 builds did not have it)
- Updated IronPortable Launcher (replace your old one!)
- Bug-/Securityfixes

"WebRTC disabled"-builds can be downloaded from: http://www.srware.net/en/webrtc_off.php

Who wants to make an unattended Setup can use the installer with Components=Iron parameter, so Flash does not get preselected.
E.g. srware_iron.exe /Components=Iron

Download Installer:
http://www.srware.net/downloads/srware_iron.exe (32-Bit)
http://www.srware.net/downloads/srware_iron64.exe (64-Bit)

Download Portable:
http://www.srware.net/downloads/IronPortable.zip (32-Bit)
http://www.srware.net/downloads/IronPortable64.zip (64-Bit)

Is it possible in Iron 49.0.2600.0 keep cookies for a specific domain, while removing other cookies when browser is closed?

I tried to set "Allow local data to be set" option for Cookies, restart browser, login to domain and check its cookies. At that time Iron correctly shows 2 cookies. Then I restart browser and try to login. It logs in successfully, but when I try to see the cookies (used in current log in), the list of cookies is empty :( Nevertheless, Iron can log in into domain... Where are those 2 cookies? Why I can't see them?

Now, if after that I set Cookies to "Keep local data until you quit your browser", and restart Iron, it can't login...

I tried to put domain in "Cookie and site data exceptions" list. It did not help.

How in Iron v49.0.2600.0 allow cookies from a specific domain and remove all other cookies when it's closed?

Thanks in advance.

The Iron is getting better, but still something in it does not work. On the Polish web site http://player.pl/ videos do not work. At the beginning you can see advertising (1 minute and 30 seconds), then main video should start. All I see is loading icon. Videos are blocked for countries other than Poland. In another browser it works.

Im using portable 32bit.

Does not seem to work in opera, too.

Is there a reason why we should use this new search engine over duckduckgo or google ssl?

First, many thanks for all the work on the Iron browser, which I have used for more than a year now.
A few points about my recent experience:
1) I deleted Flash, then installed ver 48.0.2550.2 (32-bit Win) - at the same time, Iron installed the latest Flash, ver 21 I believe.
Afterward, Iron worked fine...for a while.
Then later I got 'Can't load plug-in' errors.
Looking at installed plug-ins, I saw Flash was blocked; it said I had Flash ver 20, which was outdated - there was hint to install a security update.
When I looked in the folder where Flash is installed, it said ver 21, as did Win Control Panel.
??
I had to reinstall Iron, but then the same thing happened, so I reinstalled again.
I checked the forum, saw ver 49 was available, and installed it.
2) Installing ver 49.0.2600.0 did the following:
--Wiped away my saved homepages;
--Deleted my installation of Adblock Plus, which had survived previous Iron updates.
?
Otherwise, so far ver 49 is working

In Iron v 49, Flash was crashing so often/on so many pages I more or less had to reinstall Adblock Plus.
