Update to 48.0.2550.1:
- Removes "XP or Vista is about to expire" warnings (our users are old enough! ;) )
- Bugfixes

I had 48.0.2550.0 (64 bits), I downloaded and installed 48.0.255.1 (64bits), but instead it installed 48.0.255.1 32bits! There is a problem with the installer.

SRWare Iron and Chromium based browers shouldn't be advertised for Windows XP anymore, because many websites display the message:

Code: Select all

This webpage is not available

ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH
Hide details
A secure connection cannot be established because this site uses an unsupported protocol.
This happens because Chromium gets his credentials from native WinXP and since it's considered a Legacy OS and therefore discontinued, those same credentials aren't updated anymore, being needed another browser that is capable of using it's own credentials (like Mozilla Firefox).

Yeah, that's known. However, we don't advertise it actively for XP. But we like the freedom of choice:
If people want to use something even against good reasons - then we let them do it. We dislike the "nanny state" as we dislike "nanny software" :)

Hello,

Widevine Content Decryption Module integrated is buggy.

For http://chaines-tv.orange.fr/#live/liveChannel/58 (private), and all channels whit DRM, error 5153 (error without reason given) with Iron 48. No problem with Google Chrome 48.

Widevine Content Decryption Module is always "allow execution".
And I haven't got error 5140: link. So, this module is executed...

I will try to place the Google Chrome module in my profile Iron...

Problem found with Widevine Content Decryption Module integrated! ;)

SRWare, please, just delete widevinecdm.dll (189 ko), and only from the program folder.
In profile folder: ok, no delete dll. Just in the program folder.
