Is this tool still being maintained? Im trying to figure out how to use it but I get an error message in german saying something that translates to "progress bar not in range" and then nothing happends when I try to save my profile. Anyone knows what could be the problem?

I used an older version of Iron x64 first but then upgraded to the latest to see if it made any difference but got the same issue.
Im running Win 10 x64 1909 if that helps.

If this tool is no longer supported does anyone know of a tool that can save one local profile/config without having to use Google account?

Sorry if this is a stupid question, I havent been keeping up with whats going on with Chromium development, I tried searching a bit on the forum before posting but couldnt find a definite answer.

*Cheers*

Just want to let everybody know this tool does not work.
I have two Irons: installed and portable.
I have backuped installed Iron - and then restored the backup on portable.
Result: no bookmarks, no addons - pure profile!

When I simply copied all profile files from %userprofile%\AppData\Local\Chromium\User Data - everything works.

So it is really looks like obsolete tool: it packs profile data well (it can be easily checked when opening backup archive) - but it does not restore it properly.

I got the error: Eigenschaft TProgressBar außerhalb des zulässigen Bereichs when starting the backup tool. Then it crashes.

Not on all PC's but of course on my main PC.
So I made a 7z backup of "Chromium\User Data" manually without compression in approx. 16 seconds. Guess that will work too.

But this error should be resolved by the makers.

Is it possible that the error described above is raised when the size of User Data is more than 2GB?
The size was 2,2 GB and for some reason the size is 1,9GB today and now backup works fine....

It is preinstalled with Iron. You can find it in the IronFolder (/usr/share/iron/IronConfigBackup) or in the Start Menu of your Distribution

For Iron 115.0.x (linux):

Also checkout the Iron Config & BackupTool:
cd [Insert your Iron directory here...]
sudo chmod +x IronConfigBackup
./IronConfigBackup
