Using this tool, it launches Iron (v47) as Admin but when I go to the Settings to click the 'make Iron default' button, the button does not appear and instead there is text saying Iron is already registered as default browser. This ONLY happens when Iron is started as Admin (otherwise the expected 'make Iron default' button appears) and Win10 does not have an entry to select Chromium as default browser, just Edge
This problem remains in the version of this tool that ships with v49.

Any chance of explaining the Extended Privacy option in layman terms?
Same for me. Only grayed Running, but no file is created.

Could you try to copy 7za.dll to Windows-Folder? (C:\Windows)

Did that, issue still there.

FWIW, I use a rather old version of Windows XP like the other user who has the issue.

Also I know the backup tool gets bundled with Iron, but a separate download link would be handy, rather than downloading and installing Iron if I need to test an updated version of the Backup tool

you have also to register the dll by ms-dos: regsvr32 "file".dll

Concur with Hugo. Backup Tool works perfectly in Win 10, as long as there are no blanks in the destination folder name. For example:

C:\Users\xxxxx\Desktop\APPS\INTERNET\IronBU\'filename'

Where:

"IronBU" is the destination folder for the Backup

and

'filename' is the name of the file name you have selected :!:

Cheers.
