The extensions from http://www.chrome-plugins.info/en/ obviously work, but when I visit https://chrome.google.com/extensions it says my browser doesn't support their extensions there. :-( Is it just google detecting the browser and seeing that this isn't specifically their Google Chrome, or are the extensions there just not compatible with Iron?

Thanks,
~Garrett

They work, but you'll need to rightclick and save them to your PC in chrome first, then drag them into Iron's window

You're welcome ^^
If anyone has a hotfix for making it the default browser in Win7, please let us know!

Try this, it lets you make changes to the registry so that you could make Iron open the right files.

I tried right-click with this extension: https://chrome.google.com/extensions/de ... ibhgpbllgc
but I can't install... it says
Extensions are not yet supported in this version of Google Chrome. Please download the Beta Channel of Google Chrome to install extensions.
any ideas? :)

You need to actually use the newest Chrome beta 4.x to be able to download the extentions, Google's site is checking your browser agent, and Iron sadly doesn't copy Chrome's agent :(
Would make perfect sense if it did though.

Just use the UA.ini to change the Userstring. Then it works.

"Update extensions now" does not work, at least with this method on Iron beta :( and javascript speed, improved in the latest beta of Chrome, Iron now is slower  not by much, but slow
