Re: New Iron-Version: 37.0.2000.0 Stable for Windows
Hello,
Thanks for your job.
Just to clarify a point:
The new version 37 has 2 builds: 32 & 64 bit.
The 32 bit version is like another older version of iron.
The 64 bit version is very different:
I've a older installation of Iron (ie: 36).
Install Folder:
F:\Program Files (x86)\SRWare Iron\
With a 32 bit version a new setup of Iron update this folder and reuse my user information (generally).
With a 64 bit version, the new setup does not update the 32 bit version. It is a new version.
If the older 32 bit vbersion (ie :36) has not been uninstalled, there are 2 versions of Iron:
- 36 (32 bit version)
- 37 (64 bit version)
but what's happened with the user data (extension, application, history etc etc)?
After a test, it's seem be an issue with that.
can you clarify this point : update from 32 bit version to 64 bit version with data user?
Thx (sorry for my english is not my first language).
Thanks for your job.

I am unable to log in to Google account to synchronize bookmarks. Any ideas?

They use the same user data folder. User data does not get lost even after uninstalling a version.

is consistently crashing on two different machines. I rolled back to version 36 where it is working just fine.

any chance of fixing the sync issue on iron 32-bits 64-bits
Re: New Iron-Version: 37.0.2000.0 Stable for Windows
Hi,
64 bit installer on win 7 failed to update the "shell\open\command" keys in registry and Iron cannot be called clicking on links.
I manually searched the registry for "chromiumHTM" keys and replaced all occurrences of the old 86 path with the correct one.
Works fine now

In my case:
1/ Iron 36 (32 bit) is installed (not uninstalled) with some extension and work fine
2/ The user data folder C:\Users\Me\AppData\Local\Chromium\User Data\Default\Extensions\ contains 5 folders (i have 4 extensions)
3/ New installation: Iron 37 (64 bits) is installed (different install folder)
4/ When I run iron 37 it is loaded without extension.
5/ The User data folder C:\Users\Me\AppData\Local\Chromium\User Data\Default\Extensions\ contains just 1 folder (and no extension in Iron UI)
I think that Iron 37 (maybe) break the compatibility with some(all?) extensions because when i'm trying to reinstall a chrome extension from the store, a message said that my Chrome version is not compatible with (this) extension.
Thanks!
Re: New Iron-Version: 37.0.2000.0 Stable for Windows
The latest Iron Version 37.0.2000.0 (291000) 64 bit and the latest flash NPSWF64_15_0_0_152.dll crashes. No problems with 32-bit Iron or Google Chrome x64 versions.
