Every release is getting worse and worse! Apparently now they have even disabled -–disable-new-menu-style flag, making the menus look like fat blowfishes or smth.
F*** that s***! Google and Chromium may burn in hell!

Re: New Iron-Version: 27.0.1500.0 Stable for Windows
Thank you so much, it runs very fast.

Now THAT is a great piece of information! Thanks mapx for that share.mapx wrote:all chromium flags

I have Iron 27 on Windows 8 and on my Linux machine. "-–disable-new-menu-style" works just fine on both systems.
But in all fairness, " -–disable-new-menu-style" isn't on that list. (The site says it was updated on 5/30/13.)
Cheers.
Re: New Iron-Version: 27.0.1500.0 Stable for Windows
yes, you right ... or is ... --disable-new-dialog-style ?
anyway I'm using the --disable-new-menu-style and it's working

Re: New Iron-Version: 27.0.1500.0 Stable for Windows
I think I found out why that isn't on the current list. It sounds like Google wants to prevent users from changing back to the old menu style, so they really are working to remove that flag. I'm sure in the near future, it will affect Iron as well. (I'm still counting on frustrated hackers to figure out how to "put it back" after Google thinks it's fixed.)WillWont wrote:But in all fairness, " -–disable-new-menu-style" isn't on that list. Here is a link to the Chromium web site covering this issue.

Re: GMAIL problem
I was curious, because I have not ever done what WacoJohn described.WacoJohn wrote:In GMAIL, compose a new message. Click To or CC or BCC and a list of your contacts appears. Upper left corner of that window is My contacts with an up and down arrow. That field will not 'go' up or down .. as it should .... and display your contacts by GROUP. That window control does not work for IRON v25 or 27.
This is on a W7-64 laptop. IE10 works properly.
So I tried, on my Win 7 x64 PC, in both Iron 27.0.1500.0 (201000) and Internet Explorer 10 (10.0.9200.16576).
Behaviour on both was near identical: when I clicked 'To', a list of my contact appears. And a scroll bar that allowed me to move up and down through the list.
So that window control does work (for me!) on Iron 27 and on IE 10.
I conclude: no relevant fault in Iron. Myth has been busted.

Use the command-line switches in IronPortable.ini . Example:Sgavik wrote:...how can i change permanently the user agent in the portable edition?
Code: Select all
--user-agent="Mozilla/5.0 (; WOW64; rv:17.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/17.0"
