SSL handshake problems

Post by lallo12 »

I can't access this site: https://www.tnt.it
The problem is about SSL handshake.
ERROR:ssl_client_socket_impl.cc(970)] handshake failed; returned -1, SSL error code 1, net_error -100
Chrome, Opera and Chromium browsers of same versions don't have this problem.
Wireshark reports TLSv1 Client Hello with Iron and reports TLSv1.2 with the working browsers.
I already tried clearing cache and cookies, disabling extensions and resetting configuration to defaults but no way.
This happens with 120 and 122 versions.
Can you please help me?
Thanks a lot

Update:
the site works if I run Iron with --ssl-version-max=tls1.2 option...
...but I don't like it.
Any other idea?

Thank you. It's good to know that it's not my Iron installation or my linux distribution problem. I'll investigate further though I hope in the help of developers. I loved Iron for a lot of years and I always reinstalled it with every linux I've changed or updated. I hope this problem to be solved.
Thanks again to nuts and everyone that works on this project.

This is actually the first time I've seen this error mentioned because of using Chrome. Chrome, Opera bob the robber and Chrome browsers of the same version do not have this problem.
