How can i Disable Streaming When Downloading Media?

hey, im using the portable version 102 for windows and tethering my phone connection so data is at a premium. Whenever i try downloading a video or music file the browser tries to stream it. How can i turn off this behavior? it gives me the option to download in the media player but still streams the file at the same time, i cant seem to find any information on this. The only extension im using is uBlock Origin, iv tried searching flags related to media and tried turning off casting to no effect
