We released the new Iron for macOS today, which contains all features and updates known from Chromium 102.

As I wrote at the German Category........ The bug still exists...... after app. 30 sec. the Browser crashed..... also I tried a new fresh profile without any AddOns .... still the same .......used System iMac "Catalina" 10.15.7 with Intelchip....

Any hints?

Upgraded to this version in my OSX Mojave (16GB RAM, 2TB SSD machine). The facebook page loads very slow, and becomes unresponsive after a while. Ebay, Amazon and sites loaded with advertisement, pop up windows, etc. also crash frequently. Opening fewer tabs help them to stay a bit longer before the crash. No add-ons, all caches and browsing history cleared up, but the crash continues. Probably it needs better memory management.

I decided to uninstall and get rid of this Iron browser (version 102.0.5200.0 Stable for macOS) from my macbook. SRWare Iron remained my beloved browser and 1st choice for many many years. I could not bear the recent problems, such as frequent unresponsive delays, crashes, laggy browsing experience and shut-off pages in mid of nowhere. Sorry, I will be switching to some other browser for sometime. Thinking to try Maxthon or Edge or Brave or Firefox. I will not use this iron browser until a new update be released. Bye for now.
