New Iron-Version: 89.0.4550.0 Stable for Linux

Post by SRWare »

We released the new Iron for Linux 88 today, which contains all features and updates known from Chromium 89. The current version is 89.4550.0.

Main improvements:
- minor improvements
- SSE3-Support required
- Bug-/Securityfixes

Netflix and Amazon Video should now work out of the Box. If you have any problem, go to chrome://components/, search Widevine, click on Update, wait to finish and restart the browser.

You can install the deb package on the command line with

Code: Select all

sudo dpkg -i iron64.deb
or with "GDebi" via the GUI.

You can launch the "Config and Backup Tool" via ./IronConfigBackup or via the Shell as "SRWare Iron Config and Backup Tool" under Networks

Hello, I have downloaded iron64.deb twice, both copies failed to install in debian 10.9 (kernel 4.19.0-16-amd64) with any package installer. Is it possible to post its checksum to verify file integrity?

GDebi just closed without any error report, Discover reported only 'file installation failed". Console command worked but I don't feel comfortable using it for installations.
