I am a long time user and lover of Iron...! :D
Today having installed v80 - when I try to login to Gmail
I seem to get stuck in an infinite login loop
I have re-installed, rebooted, cleared all cookies, checked all settings
So believe there may be an issue with v80 (as Chrome works)
Any help with this would be truly appreciated 8-)
Warmest regards, C
I appreciate your speedy response and help fixing this...!
I was just wondered when opening zoom invites...
I used to see a little tick box that allowed me to open all similar links in the same way
This has gone from Iron but is still in Chrome - is this something that you could also fix...?!
Any help would be truly appreciated...
I am in this situation in V80 and I can't synchronize.
I must navigate in private mode to see my Gmail.

What's the fuck ?

I am with Iron for 7 or 8 years but the Chromium virus drop my SRware.
And now I have the Msg in attachment when i try to synchronize

What can I do to debug this please... Image

I Answer myself... Arf...

I don't solution about my issue, despite all my manipulation.

Install, uninstall wwith Revo, work with regedit, etc...
I install and uninstall Google Chrome, it work fine.
I work with Backup from a PC which work well

I stop antivirus, Firewall, etc...

I tried the portable version... Same result, same message.

But I saw that portable version create an C:\Users\FSware\AppData\Local\Chromium ?!?!?!?
Doesn't work with it's folder "profile" in it's folder ???

It's strange...

It does work from it's own folder. However on my system that folder location you listed has no files inside it so it's empty, it's also empty even when SRWare Iron Portable is running. Perhaps it's only for crash data because I see an empty Crashpad folder in there too:
C:\Users\YourProfileName\AppData\Local\Chromium\User Data\Crashpad

As for the portable version creating files/folders outside of where it was extracted it doesn't create any files, it does however create those folders mentioned. Also it creates a Chromium registry key with settings inside it. As to this creation of things outside of where it's ran from perhaps it's hard coded into the code, and it's not too out of the ordinary to see portable programs create some AppData, or even registry data. That's why when "portable" programs create files, folders, registry data outside of their working folder I think it would probably be better to describe them as a "no installer" instead of "portable".
