Iron on Mint Cinnamon 3.8.9 Linux 4.15.0-72-generic

Ever since last update Every Time Iron comes up with a blank screen and then disappears
I depend on Iron as my default browser, but now I have no access to all my bookmarks
Yes I actually trusted Iron enough not to have contemporaneous backup
My fault clearly
the .4000 release does seem to fix my situation

I downloaded the 77.0.4000 version just today
I uninstalled the previous version including the Chromium Link
I then used the GDebi package installer for what I thought was 77.0.4000

This version still brings up a blank window for 1 - 3 seconds, which then disappears

But When I uninstalled that version the version is labeled as 75.0.3900 instead

I downloaded the 71.0.3700 Old Version and it works, so at least I am able to backup my bookmarks and import them into brave
Until Iron shows it can put out versions that don't crash
I can no longer have Iron as my default browser in my Linux Mint Cinnamon 3.8.9 Linux 4.15.0-72 Generic System
