I can't download from the chrome webstore either, until I used my coding skills.
The inspector tells us that variables tracker(_setCustomVar:function), cxTrackAdsConversion and cxTrackInstall are undefined.
So I used greasemonkey-like script injector and always set for https://chrome.google.com/ the following:

var tracker={_setCustomVar:function(){}};
var cxTrackAdsConversion=function(){};
var cxTrackInstall=function(){};

It works now.

Are you using Ghostery or some form of tracking blocking? If so, unblock 'Google Analytics' & you should be OK.

Thank you for the updates, couple of questions ...

1. Did the .1 update include any fixes to the Certificate Authority issues in the news recently?
I dont know if Iron uses the certificates which are accessed via windows Internet Options, or whether it stores its own copies somewhere else.

2. Also the Privacy.ini - You say it is 'attached', I cannot seem to find it after using the installer.exe.

3. If we are using the command line switch --disable-webgl (setting it in the Icon Properties) is there any need to use the Privacy.ini ? - Or the reverse, if using the Privacy.ini do we need to remove the command line switch --disable-webgl ... I have been using the command line switch ever since there was a buzz that allowing your browser to directly access graphics hardware was potentially a serious security problem, and being in its infancy I distrusted the new feature.

I think he meant 'attached to this posting thread'.
The privacy.ini is in a separate zip archive that is on the first post/first page of this topic. You need to be signed in to see it.
It's under all that red text SRWare added to the original post.
For now, all you really need to do is create a text file in the Iron install folder named privacy.ini, and type the word 'ALL' without the quotes in it and save it.

JUST BE AWARE! The next time you update Iron it WILL BE GONE! Just like the adblock.ini file.
