Just packing Iron into a .deb and tweaking install to allow iron as standard web application.

This is really cool, thanks for the effort!
I can't seem to set Iron as my default browser though... It keeps asking me on starting the application.
Its not in the dropdown menu in preferred apps and running "sudo update-alternatives --config x-www-browser" results in two options, auto & manual, but neither make a difference
Anybody have any luck?

You need to open Preferred apps, then choose User Defined from the dropdown menu (I'm translating from Czech, the phrase may be different) and the command is

/usr/share/iron/iron
