Re: New Iron-Version: 62.0.3250.0 Stable for Windows
Keeps crashing on Windows 8.1x86
Re: New Iron-Version: 62.0.3250.0 Stable for Windows
Hi,
I'm using the portable version x64. I simply replaced "my" Iron folder with the new one (didn't touch the Profile folder, of course).
Now the browser refuses to open (crashes immediately). No problems with the previous version (Win10 1709 Build 16299.19).
Additional info : as a test, I reverted from version 61 to 60 (doing exactly as described above) and the browser starts immediately. So I tend to think that there must be something wrong with the latest zip package (x64).
Am I missing something here ?
Any help would be much appreciated ...

Thanks for the fast reply.SRWare wrote:Please delete "kSE1" and "First Run" in the profile folder and start again
This way the updated browser starts but I'm losing some customized items (windows size, theme, etc ...).
Do I have to do this again with every update or is this just once now ?

Just once. We updated the browser now so that this has not to be done manually for the other users who are affected. Thanks for the fedback.throkr wrote:Thanks for the fast reply.SRWare wrote:Please delete "kSE1" and "First Run" in the profile folder and start again

Re: New Iron-Version: 62.0.3250.0 Stable for Windows
Tried several times to install the 32-bit (then even 64-bit) version, but after install process, when I tried to open the browser, it immediately closes.
Just now tried to download again...after seeing your response about "Please try again. We updated the files"...but now my antivirus program is giving this ERROR message.
Thanks
