$ to download latest version on my PCO?

Dear SRWare.net support,
I recently noticed that there had been an update with the computer (Windows 10) that I have & that it costs money of which I really do not have. Is this actually true or did I apply on the wrong website? Any how, I'm a bit confused about this matter.
